Console Night TONIGHT!! Come by for free dinner (members/access) and some serious gaming action! We will have 360, XBox, PS3, N64 and other consoles all set up in the SIT Boardroom. From 5pm tonight.

BBQ This Thurs, 1:30-2:30pm outside SIT Building. Usual deal $1 for members, $4 everyone else and $1 for drinks. All-you-can-eat!

Hi SUITS’ers! James here, SUITS events manager for this year!

Welcome to SUITS! O Week for SUITS went extremely well with over 260 new members. Thankyou for signing up and we hope you enjoyed the show-bag goodies.

We have some exciting events coming up and while you’ll all recieve this in an email shortly, for those who follow our feed you’ll get the first scoop! Please do come along, bring your friends and say hi. If you have any suggestions of events you would like to see us run, please do let me know too.

Thursday 4th

SUITS first all-you-can-eat BBQ of 2010! 12-1:30pm Absolutely FREE for all new members otherwise $4 for everyone else/non-access. For those of you who signed up as non-access make sure to get your access card before this Thursday to take advantage. Also anyone wearing a SUITS T-shirt will be entitled to a free BBQ too. Deloittle personnel will also be there to talk about their graduate and internship program, so for any job-hunters out there I highly recommend coming along.

SUITS Drinks night @ Hermans! 5-7pm – New to SUITS? New too Uni? Come along and chat with other SUITS members, introduce yourself to us, your executive and get to know the society a little better. Bar tab provided for all new members (ie FREE BEERS, wohoo). Studying IT at Sydney can be a heap of fun, so make sure you come down and say hi! Afterward we’ll no doubt head-over to Newtown some dinner somehwere!

Wednesday 10th

SUITS Console Night! 5-9:30pm: Free Pizza provided for all SUITS Members. Come and pit your skills against others or just come and hang out. There will be Halo, Guitar Hero, N64 Mario Kart and other games running too. Feel free to bring your console along too! Email james to let me know, jale4381 AT uni.sydney.edu.au

SUITS Spotlight Lecture Series: Google Tech Talks - 23rd March – In our first instalment of our Spotlight Lecture Series, SUITS team up with Google who will be hosting their will known Google Tech Talks series in the Carlslaw Center. More details closer to the date however definitely jot this down in your calendar!

SUITS Lunch-time Hack Sessions – Would you like to present something? Nothing long, just a casual lunch-time presentation by SUITS Members on something their interested and think other students will be too.
