Camp 2008 Wrap Up

Edmund Tse on Jul 11th 2008

In 2008, SUITS ran a camp in the mid-year break, during which our members worked on interesting IT based projects.

What do you do on an IT camp? Why should I go?

Many groups on campus run camps and though they have various purposes they are all a lot of fun. They mean getting together with not just 3 or 4 friends, but 30 or 40 friends and hanging out for not just a few hours, but a few days.

During the day we will all be working on our own ideas, trying to build something from nothing in just four days. The something could be just about anything – a short film, a new web-app, a VR hardware system, or who knows what (hopefully you’ve got a few ideas up your sleeve).
